Consumers or subjects of law? Education, between ICT and PTSD
The article reviews the place of technologies in pedagogical and cultural mediation. It starts from explaining how ICTs have entered the political agendas of the region, to go through some conceptions around their inclusion in educational processes. Then, reflections are presented to think if the media and technologies are, in turn, mediated, since it is no less true that they are mediating in daily practices and becoming structural. The vertiginous penetration of ICT in the population challenges education to turn these devices into technologies of empowerment and participation (TEP). Read the article here .
