Free online transmedia course:

SIGNIS Argentina, Cine Mundo Chico and Aulas Creativas present "Weaving Stories: Immigration, Memory and Transmedia Narratives", a course that invites you to explore collective memory as a fundamental tool to reconstruct the daily life of great historical processes. Through a transmedia methodology, various stories will be integrated to form a multifaceted narrative about migrations. Immigration in Argentina will be used as an example, but the tools and knowledge acquired are applicable to any country and history to be addressed.

The objective of the course is to use memory as a vehicle to reconstruct the historical contexts that framed the arrival of our ancestors from different corners of the world. We will analyze how personal and family stories are intertwined with historical events, creating a narrative fabric that allows us to better understand our present and past.

The course is free, will consist of four synchronous online meetings, and will be taught by professors Martín Córdoba and Sergio Obregón. During its development, participants will learn to:

-Research and document migration stories using primary and secondary sources.
-Use digital tools to create transmedia narratives, combining text, audio, video and multimedia.
-Analyze the impact of migration on Argentine culture and society.
-Collaborate on creative projects that reflect the diversity and richness of migratory experiences.

Aimed at teachers, teachers in training, researchers and students.

Dates and times of meetings:
Saturdays June 8 and 29, and July 6 and 13, at 10 a.m. (Argentina)
