SIGNIS Argentina begins training for teachers

On October 7, the first class of the CREActive Workshops for an Inclusive Education took place, virtual and free training for teachers and teachers in training that make up the CINE MUNDO CHICO proposal for this period.

With three hundred registered from all over the country and Latin America, the meeting began with the welcome of Adrián Baccaro, one of the coordinators of the renowned SIGNIS ARGENTINA educommunication project, and the greeting of Dolores Espeja, coordinator of the Advisory Council for Audiovisual Communication and Children (CONACAI), body that supports the cycle. The theme of the day was "Audiovisual practices in the classroom" and was in charge of Esteban Gaggino, creator and director of TV series and multiplatform projects aimed at children, film workshops for children in Argentina and abroad and founder of " iNAUTA, Childhoods, art and communication "and the" Production Company LA CASA DEL ÁRBOL ". Gaggino presented different experiences with audiovisual activities that include situations and didactic games, with and without technology, to work with children.

CREActive Workshops for Inclusive Education, an action for solidarity

These are courses framed by the concept of Educommunication, aimed at those who work in different fields of education, whether formal or non-formal, and which will be taught virtually and free of charge during the months of October and November.

At each meeting, important professionals will provide very practical tools to work with children and adolescents on issues related to Communication, Information and media, audiovisual and digital Literacy, from a perspective of rights and construction of citizenship, deepening in fields such as cinema, animation, apps, news and children's rights.

The next workshops in October will be on Thursday 14 and 21 and include "Educational technology", dictated by Melina Ignazzi, and "Media, journalism and disinformation processes", dictated by Jerónimo Biderman and Agustina Argnani. Each class constitutes an independent thematic and work module. In addition, registrants will receive unpublished reference materials.
