Help - Uploading Content

Once in the Private Area, you can register and manage your productions. Go to the following link: productions on the main menu. You can also access it from the user menu on the black ribbon under the heading.

Once on the page, you will get a list of the productions that you have registered, and you will have a filter at the beginning of the list to search if there are any other productions.

To register a new production, simply click on the New button on the top right of the list.

You will get a form where you need to enter the basic information for your production:

1. Section: Commlab, Culture of Peace, Integral Ecology, etc.
2. Production Team: For each member of the team, you must enter their name, surname, country and role. Don't forget to enter the Director's name every time.
3. Title: Title of your production
4. Photo: Any size is acceptable. Our system will adapt it so that it can be seen correctly both in the list and in the production details.
5. Duration
6. Date of Creation
7. Region
8. Country where it was produced
9. Summary (or pompadour): This is the text that is shown in the production listings. Briefly and in no more than 3 lines explain, what the production is about so that the visitor has a brief overview of what they will find in your production.
10. Synthesis of content: Provide more information regarding the work involved in the production of this piece.
11. Multimedia Gallery: Upload your video and if you want, an image gallery.

Once you complete these fields, click Submit to save the information on the database.

Video upload

To be able to upload the video, it is necessary to send the form with the complete information entered, since this will register the production on the database and allow the video to be uploaded.

To upload the video, you have to "edit" the production you previously uploaded. The steps are:

1. Click the edit icon found to the left or on the production title to enter the edit form.
2. Click on the Multimedia Galleries tab.
3. Click the button that says New in: Add Media File. A window will open where you can fill in the information for the video.
   1. Select File type : Video.
   2. Enter Title
   3. Thumbnail : it is necessary to upload a frame of the video and then, it will work as a link to see it. You will have 2 options: Upload a capture from the Thumbnail field or if you complete the field with a YouTube URL, our system will offer you the photos that YouTube captures from the video. Select the option "Medium quality".
   4. Fill in the YouTube / Vimeo / Facebook URL field precisely with the Web address (URL) of the video in question.
   5. Enter Video width and height . By default the measurement is 1280 x 720.-
   6. The rest of the parameters, don't need to be modified.

Add a photo gallery

It is also possible to add a photo gallery. Each photo in the gallery consists of a thumbnail and its enlarged photo (best quality). To upload photos of your production, it can be done from the Multimedia Galleries tab. The steps are:

1. Click the Browse button in Automatic Image Upload
2. On the pop-up window, locate the images to upload on your disk and select one or more files at the same time.
3. The system will automatically upload all images by processing the size of both the thumbnail and the enlargement.
